My 21 year old pressure treated pine deck is still in solid condition. Needs only a couple ballisters replaced and another paint job.

The treated wood today does not use the same chemicals as 21 years ago. My personal issue is my deck over the water goes underwater a couple of times a year. This caused the wood to expand and contract and crack and fail. I am installing Ipe in the spring with stainless fasteners
