He wins and coaches the team up to play top level SEC football and recruits at a Top Level or he gets fired
People hated the hired stopped the season after the Troy loss - shame on you - the young men of the team didn't give up !!!
The young men that will go out against Ole Miss have not given up
Like I said - at least 70% of the fans did not like the hire - you can't throw out CEO for 2 bad games - can't do it
Judge him after the season and after the recruiting process

Awful? No. But it would mean 2 SEC losses and an embarrassing loss at home to Troy (and let's not get ahead of ourselves counting these victories just yet). That's hardly an excellent result considering the volatility we put the program through to hire him.

The college football mentally challenged among us has been calling 10 wins seasons, nationally ranked seasons mediocre for yrs. What's changed?

I'd call it a 9-3 season with a 7th loss in a row to BAMA, a blowout loss to AU and a loss to a fricking Sunbelt Team.
Is that the kind of success fans were expecting when they insisted on firing the last guy who's average win total was about 9-3? Remember how almost NO ONE was happy and that kind of record needed to get the frick out of Baton Rouge?
The incessant goal post moving has made some forget what the issues were with the previous coach and why they wanted him canned. Now we seem content on getting essentially the same or lesser results and are calling it a great job. Hells bells...if people were going to be happy with 9-3 and a Bowl Win, we had that for a decade and got rid of it.
FTR, I'm not advocating a position as to whether 9-3 is good enough at LSU...just pointing out that for many years now, it CLEARLY has not been for the majority of Tiger fans. Now suddenly with some smoke and mirrors many have been conned into thinking that not only is it ok, but it's actually some amazing feet to have pulled off.
