Did anyone see an explanation of the chimp's illness. It looked as if her gums were huge and she'd lost her teeth???

I heard about this earlier today on the radio. I didn't hear all of it but from what I gather she was very old, like over 50 which I guess for a chimp is ancient.

I'm betting she lost her teeth bc she was old. Her hands looked like she had arthritis. I think she died of old age.
