Looking forward to posts of your hunts. I've read them in the past, and it's one of the coolest things I've seen on the web. Even better than Cannonball Run and Bill Dance bloopers, so that's saying a lot.

I'd pay good money for you to put on a display of squirrel slaughter in my neighborhood if you're passing through.

Well, let's not get carried away.


To answer a couple of questions:

1: Her name is "Watts". My wife does all the naming around here. This bird is sort of a "tweener" on size so I'm not really sure if it's a male or female. I'm leaning female. My wife named her after the tomboy in that old John Hughes move, Some Kind of Wonderful.

2. Bald eagles are off limits. A few people do have special permits for golden eagles, but you really need the wide open spaces of the west and jackrabbits to do well with them.


And thanks for all the replies, everyone. I was just posting some funny photos, but since some have asked, I'll try to add some hunting photos as she progresses.
