The Pledge of Allegiance was drafted by a socialist and solicited into schools by a socialist. Its basis in our history is not to teach us about freedom, it is to teach us to worship the State.

There is a reason many Christian sects, specifically Jehovah's Witnesses, refuse to say it. They believe it to violate the 1st and 2nd Commandments. I agree with them.

Even from a very young age I found the pledge to be creepy af.

Why the hell are we saying a prayer to a piece of cloth? I really could not imagine trying to get my employees to do it every morning and still be taken seriously.
