Me Too

I see a lot of people posting #metoo on Facebook to indicate that they have been sexually harassed.
What is the threshold? Clearly rape, groping, etc. What about catcalls? What about sexual innuendo by someone of the opposite sex. Co-worker asking for a date?
Where is the line drawn?

In the matriarchy we currently live in, any unwelcome sexual advance from a man is "HARASSMENT". That's it. That's the line.

The fact that you need a specific line to define these sexual grievances means you are promoting rape culture you misogynistic bigot.

One time this cougar was out on the prowl, she looked at me as a peice of meat and told me about the dirty, nasty things she wanted to do to me. . . Didnt even make me breakfast. Thats gotta fall under one of these criminal categories...

I've been sexually harassed. Where can I pick up my settlement?

I would love to see men who have been physically assaulted, cheated on, verbally abused, sexually harrassed, used for money, and emotionally abused by women start posting #she did it too (or something like that). It amazes me that women really think their poo doesn't stink and that they never behave in this way.

It is a free badge of sympathy from the female community and a feeling of attention
Does it happen. Yes
Do the stats they would push in college telling you half the campus was raped and women get sexual assaulted every day walking home from class have any basis in reality? frick no

Attention whores gonna attention whore.
Everyone posting these have some sort of colored Prayers for Paris/Orlando/San Bernardino Facebook profile filter too.
They all have any to instert themselves into th “conversation”, which to me is complete bullshite and insensitive to those few who have actually been raped

Or sexually assaulted.
I am seeing a ton of it. Most of what i see people are actually telling their stories. Or at least my facebook friends are. And some of them are a bit rough, most are rape or date rape stories. I saw one pretty depressing molestation story.

I'm not trying to downplay what has happened to anybody, just to be clear.
I'm not worried about myself, but if, as someone suggested, any unwelcome advances constitutes harassment, then if my son asks a girl out on a date, and she doesn't want him to, is that harassment?
For all of recorded history, men have been trying to get into women's pants. It happens in every culture. It seems that the rules are changing on what our society deems as acceptable or not.
Part of what got me thinking is this whole Harvey Weinstein deal. How many of the women who are coming out actually went to his office hoping that they could get the part by going down on Harv? Does that mean Harvey is innocent because the woman volunteered to service him? Or does the implicit knowledge that they had to do that in order to get the part make him guilty, anyway?
Now you're getting into a complicated scenario, where my own wife could have me thrown in jail for marital rape because she could say that it was implicit that she had to have sex with me or I was going to throw her out of the house.

The whole thing is pretty meaningless because almost everyone, both genders, can think of at least one instance where someone was inappropriate with them.

Not me. All I ever see is the hashtag.

I refuse to believe cat calls are sexual assault. There’s a lot of people claiming to be victims of things that aren’t equivalent to rape

This one time a stripper licked my face. I’m no legal scholar, but I’m pretty sure that counts as assault with a deadly weapon.
