City stopped making money on them once most people figured out you dont have to pay them. Was about to start costing the city money to cover the administrative fees to operate them so they magically disappear. More proof that it is only about revenue, public safety is of no concern.
So they're currently shopping around for a new contract that meets those needs, though considering budget issues, I don't think this will happen soon.

'Rope a Dope' Robideaux had a plan all along to give his buddy's, Mike Michot, kickback company (American Traffic Solutions) the contract. Wait for it, it's coming.... for your safety of course.
