I just believe the Tacoma is very capable. Not going to speculate on the quality comparisons between it and other full size trucks. I like mine and it works for me.

Great point--dont disagree w/ any of it. I have a Tundra and love it; its currently at Price Leblanc getting serviced and they gave me a Taco for a couple of days. Its powerful, and I went to cabelas and loaded up on new decoy boxes inside and four bags of corn in the bed. Then went to Academy and bought a new bike, put it in the bed. All the while with a 3yr old in a car seat in the back. We were very cramped with all the cargo. I'm 6'4" and the seat was all the way back, passenger seat was all way forward and kiddo was resting her feet on the head rest. I get my Tundra back Thursday and I cant wait. If I was still single, no kids, still living in uptown Nola, then I would for sure have a Taco, but Im in BR now, hauling stuff around all the time. I like the larger truck.
ETA: its about size for me, the Taco is a quality truck with a great V6.

Im 6'4" also and I do have to duck a little to see traffic lights if they are almost directly above.
