so nice of the 49ers
instead of freeing his contract off their books and getting another draft pick... they get to continue paying for someone who is no longer helping them be successful and don't have another draft pick.

So Bowman didn't feel like uprooting his life and move to new orleans...Oakland means he stays at home where he's been his whole career. Can't really blame him.
