Boat deck lighting

I'm thinking about putting some LED lights in the deck area and in a couple of compartments. Any recommendations?
Not wanting it to look like a disco dance floor, just to be able to see a little better before sun up.

You can go cheap strip LED off Amazon or something more expensive like Bluewater LED. I used red Bluewater led strips (deck lighting kit) on my last boat and never had an issue.
I have blue quarter sized led on my current boat. Nothing special. Standed led that come from the boat dealers.

I have pod lights under the gunnels on my CC and strip lights on my duck boat. Like anything, you get what you pay for. Installation is pretty simple--either glue on or screw in and run the wires.

I'll look into Bluewater LEDs.
I can't put anything under my gunnels except stick-on type (no room to work).

this was my red LED deck kit from bluewater led. 4- 10"-ish LED stick on strips. I also had 2 red LEDS from academy on the console.

that was taken in total darkness so unless you are night fishing it wont be that drastic of lighting. you can also get dimmer switches

I have 2 16' red led strips, 1 under each gunwale. Cheap ones from amazon, never had an issue.

I went to the Bluewater site & was looking at their "blemishes"; half off and the same lifetime warranty sounds like win-win.
Next question for all - are all of your lights on 1 switch or do you have 1 for the boxes and 1 for the deck (for example)?

I recently got a quote from LAboat worx in Thib and they said $375 to put southern lite led snake tube through out my xpress 1860. I don’t know if that’s a good deal or not

Depends on what throughout means; does it include your live wells and boxes? Under the console? If so the price doesn't sound bad

OK I ordered Rod Locker LED Lighting Package (comes with 2 30" strips in blue) & 6 each 12 LED/8-inch Blue Water LED Light Strips.....this should do the trick
