I think there were 3 camps. Camp 1 - against the hire and after the hire continued to scream to the mountain tops how bad it is. Camp 2 - Were all in and was excited about the reign of O. Camp - 3 not in favor of the hire, but once it was done was willing to support it in hopes that the sum of the parts was enough for success.
I was in camp 3, but find myself aligning with camp 1.
I am the roller coaster fan, but not in the sense that Moreau meant. My roller coaster has gone from hopeful to concerned to angry to disgusted to sad to numb. I had shielded myself against getting too hopeful during the final years of Les, but this is much worse.
The only hope for the future of the program now is for Alleva to go which will bring an end to the O era. It's obvious now that Alleva did not want a strong HC. He wanted a lap dog.
