What does Lsu have to do to have a chance vs AU??

Auburn allowed 11 sacks to the defending champs and could have won. They are humming right now and since they moved that C to tackle and shifted the oline they have rushed for 500+ n 2 games. I think that KT-Donte-greedy-battle-grant must lock down the wr's. M2m is only way we contain that run game and pressure Stidham. And our Oline must be physical and create running lanes for our backs. If we don't run the rock successfully it's gonna be a blowout. Our D can stop the run if we don't have to give our corners a lot of help...

A lot. But there's always a chance.

Score more points than Auburn scores.

Create turnovers - takeaways
A pick 6 or scoop and score or punt return TD would help
not turn the ball over
not make drive killing penalties

Set the mouse trap and wait for Mickey to take the bait.

Offensive line has to get push on their DL. Finish drives and score points

Beating UF is a lot more doable than beating Auburn. I think they are going to take us to school unfortunately

LBs and safeties have to play smart and stay in their gaps.
The offense needs to sustain some drives so that the defense can rest. Need to consistently have a back in the flat for Etling to dump off to if he gets in any trouble.

To have a chance? Show up - the talent levels are very similar.
To win, O is going to have to let Canada do his thing and Etling is going to have to make some clutch throws.

Stop the run
in our losses against Malzhan they ran wild the whole game

O fricking Line. I swear to you, that is the Achilles heel of the team or at least the most deficient part.

This is #1
For the record, in the Miss St and Fla games, nobody turned the ball over one time.
And as important as a turnover is, you have to capitalize. I remember Jamal Adams intercepting Hurts early last year in their own territory... we scored 0 points in the game.
Another difference- touchdowns over field goals. Auburn beat us with 6 field goals last year. If even just one of those is a touchdown, we don’t have the chance we had on that last drive.
That being said, a good team can overcome turnovers by being dominant. It will take a strong effort on offense, defense, and special teams throughout the game to pull it off.
Troy didn’t upset us on some fluke shite. They beat our arse, and we still almost pulled off what would’ve been an improbable comeback in any game with that situation.
Big plays is what we need though.
Remember Florida’s 99 yard td last year? I remember them doubling their total yards on one second half play while being dominated the entire game before that
Anything can happen. That’s why we watch the game and cheer for the boys no matter what.
All the “boycotters” can enjoy their Saturday elsewhere, but I guess we’ll welcome them back with open arms when the sail of this ship catches full wind again. It may be Saturda, it may be next year, it may never happen again. One thing will always be here though, and it’s the LSU tigers playing ball on saturdays in the fall. There could be worse things, even though the haters thinka 4-8 season from here might kill them.
Love my home, love my alma mater, and will always love the tigers. Forever L-S-U!

Offense will have to move the ball to keep the Defense rested. They can't afford to be gassed.
