With the incentive of promotion clubs will invest more into youth development
Problem is USL/NASL and travel teams get no where near the money from USSF for player development that the MLS does.

Except in the cases where the FA had to step in because clubs could spend money to buy players rather than promote youth. See France and Germany.
Pro/rel would answer some of our problems, but it isn't the cure all that some people are pretending it to be.

They would also invest more if they were able to keep more money from selling players, and having total control on when to sell a player. I'm not against pro/rel, I just think there's easier ways to get us going in the right direction.
