Yeah, I gathered it more from the Podcast that the TV show, and that's no knock on the TV show either. His podcast is just fantastic. Never thought I would find a podcast--let alone a hunting podcast--that I would be addicted to as much as I am to Meat Eater. Hunting, in my opinion, just does not translate into radio/podcast media, but he makes it work and his guests are amazing. I don't hunt with a rifle (at least not currently), but the podcast episode where they discuss optics was great.

Might start picking up his books, or I may just wait and really impress on the family that I want those books for Christmas...lol!

Oh, and the Solo Coue's deer and California Turkey TV episodes are probably my favorite so far (have only watched Season 5). His commentary during the Coue's hunt was incredibly deep and insightful (rare for a hunting show), and Joe Rogan and Bryan Callen just kill me in the turkey hunt. Especially when Bryan just can't focus because Joe has his mask on wrong. Lmao!

DAMN YOU OB FOR GETTING ME ADDICTED TO THIS!!

I was like you and only had seen the most recent seasons and what is offered on Netflix. Then I broke down and bought season 1 online. Long story short I now own every episode.

Enjoy "All Things Hunting" which is sponsored by Simmons Sporting Goods in Bastrop. I know the boys personally and can't think of a better bunch of La. hunting boys. Also "Old School Outdoors" by a couple of north La. boys hunting mostly in Kansas.
