Miles lost to 10-3 Wisconsin, and 8-5 Auburn the year he got fired

He also lost to an Arky coach, who hadnt won a SINGLE game in the SEC. Then lost to his 8-5 team again the next year

He also was only winning a bowl game every other year. And its not like we were playing in stellar bowl games either.

The decline had clearly begun. We just needed a coach that could right the ship, Instead, we hired Ponamsky

All of which is far above anything Orgeron had ever accomplished in his lone previous head coaching job, and which seems far beyond his reach here as of now.

It's fine to replace Miles with a better coach. You don't do that until you have the better coach lined up.

Based on the shite show that is now LSU football, firing Les was clearly a mistake. You can try to put as much lipstick as you want on the firing, but it was a frick up. Really, you have to be nuts to think that LSU is better off now.
