Exactly. Health INSURANCE plans were added by employers to attract qualified workers as an incentive to work for a company. Then others did the same to stay competitive in the workforce. It was never, ever, a right that everyone was entitled to. If you wanted to work for Company A or Company B, and Company A offered a higher salary, but no insurance, and Company B offered a lower salary, but included insurance, and both wanted you to work for them, you have the freedom to choose which is the right decision for you and both companies have the right to choose how they structure their salaries and benefits to attract employees.
