And to the Wet Willie comment---I just listened to one of their later albums called "Manorisms"...the tune "Street Corner Serenade" is just an upbeat, happy, well written tune!!... LINK

When this son came out I used to hang out at the AM station in a small Alabama town where my aunt worked, love that song!

There was a band out of North Carolina back in the early/mid 90s called Still Rain. I caught them at a club in Florida one night and they blew me away. I figured they would end up being huge but they split up and made other lesser (IMO) bands like Sevendust and Double Drive. Self titled release from 1994 totally kicks arse.
