With racism this is definitely true. They project their self-loathing and guilt onto others. With many of them, it's not they were ever even really racist, it's that their parents were and they view their parents as "Conservative" . We had a former poster here, I don't remember his name , he wore a doggie suit but if you ever heard him talk about his parents you knew how he ended up projecting all this ill will and anger onto the world.
