I didn't even know Netflix had different plans.

Same here. I think I'm paying $9.99. What would I lose by going to the $7.99 plan?

I can only think of 2 plans. The lower one is only SD streaming and one device at once, and the higher has HD and can stream on two devices at once.

Just looked it up. Different plans for how many devices can stream Netflix at the same time. So basic is one then all the way up to premium at 4 devices.

You'd lose HD... so... a LOT.

I was actually just looking into this because I didn't realize they did plans either, and I'm also on the standard $9.99 about to be $10.99 plan.

Basic plan is SD quality, one screen active at a time.
Standard plan is HD quality, two screens active at a time.
Premium plan is UHD quality (when available), four screens active at a time.

HD. The 7.99 package is in 480p.
