This is like watching a train wreck.....I just can't look away

I missed the coaches show last night....btw who ever called in with the "BRcrime and Rosy finch boyz bit was great"
First= I never thought this coaching change would come off the tracks sooo fast when they hired O last year.
Second= It's not wise how O has talked about his players/staff the past week, a testimony to his inexperience/unsuccessful experience as a head coach. Ex: Nick Brosette, Canada, kickers
Third= Losing to Troy carries a long lasting issue when you handle the back end of the loss like the administration has.
Fourth= It shows to the lack of leadership on the head coach that you are having to have a come to Jesus meeting with your staff, AD....you should not need your AD to come help you get your coaches on the same page, and smooth out y'alls problems. This is the most troubling one for me. Without leadership you WILL NOT SUCCEED!
Finally= This is from a fans standpoint, this has the potential to cripple the program for along time. The real fix to me, is at some point, sooner than later-including administration, they will have to blow this whole thing up in order to fix it. Good riddance to great football for a while. Or at least it appears to be headed that way

I agree I almost feel the urge to embrace the dumpster fire, if just for this season. Coach Oeaux really flipped da scrip all right.

a testimony to his inexperience as a head coach.
The problem is, is he's just not a good coach and he's not a very good person either. Everyone knows O is a snake and always has been. When things start going bad, it's everyone else's fault and not his own.
So quit with the inexperienced bullshite. He's plenty experienced. He's just not a good coach, or good person.

let me fix this for you
"Unsuccessful experience as a head coach"

Oh man. What an original, thoughtful post. I don't think any of these things have been said in other threads / posts.
GJ man.
GJ man.

For God's sake, we hired Ole Miss scraps. Let that sink in for a minute.

I don't get on here as often as some do. Yeah im sure this stuff has been mentioned before. I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse, but I need to vent!!

Coach O is easily shaken. You can see it on the sidelines, you can see it in his interviews. This is why he did well as an interim HC, there was no stress to perform. If the team sucked oh well, IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT - you're just the interim HC.
But he is a fraud. He managed to 'wow' the board with his binder, which obviously included not having a placekicker, not knowing what to do with Stevens, and meddling with the offense even though he admitted not to know much about offense.

I dont' think that is a large enough train wreck, I think this is more like 2 trains hitting head on

Tough love. If you don't want to be called out, do your job! The kicker comment was a little harsh, but it should light a fire under their arse. If there's one thing this team doesn't need right now is a bunch of sensitive snowflakes getting upset for being called out, for simply not doing their job.

If had to guess O was behind the scenes trying to get Miles fired so he could have a shot at the job. Unfortunately our AD fell for it and hired him. Don't get these comments confused, letting LM go was the right decision, unlike O I do think Miles had great character.

And to think LSU could have another 3 years of this nonsense, talk about fan revolt the longer it goes on. I will support my Tigers through anything but history shows this isn't going to end well. When Miles was fired it was time to blow up the whole thing and you go out and hire a proven head coach.
We are looking at a Michigan and Nebraska type moment for this program.
I never wanted Alleva anywhere near a football hire and I want Alleva gone before PM has to be replaced too because I don't want Alleva screwing up the baseball program too. Alleva showed how bad he is at hiring coaches with the basketball situation and Wade is still an unknown but very promising but it has taken Alleva over 5 years to maybe get that program right, the only reason he gets a pass is because no one cares about hoops in this town.

I understand tough love, but you could at least call the man by his name. Not the 3rd string back!!!

I don't think we can really call him a fraud when he was very publicly proven to be a dismal failure and the AD and BOS chose to ignore that proof.

I get your point but when you are the "3rd string back"(who's known to have ball security problem since he's got here) and fumble on the first play after you get HUGE hole. He's not exactly helping his case here.

agreed, not taking up for Brosette. That's on the coaches. B

You must not know much about athletes. They know they're not doing good and they know what areas they aren't doing good in. But, it's the coaches job to have there back and in the mean time, coach them up to be better. Not throw them under the bus. If we had a head coach that was competent, they would be playing better. But, no one wants to bust their arse and play their hearts out for someone who throws them under the bus and who can't coach and lead a group of young men.

Light a fire under his arse? The kicker?
