Teams are also going to be concerned about his character and his work ethic. Given all the questions about his "sabbatical", coming into the season as out of shape as he was, is not a great look. I'm sure there are people questioning whether he cares or really wants to play football.
I've already addressed this ITT. Clowney has something like 25 total tackles and 3 sacks his final season and was notorious for taking plays off.
The NFL doesn't give a shite about character or heart when they think they can pay you to give them double digit sacks.

Do we though? In the shape he's in now? What if he's lazy and doesn't get serious prepping for the combine like he was the entire off season?
1. The combine is 6 months away. He won't be anything close to what he is now.
2. This entire saga comes off as a guy mailing it in to make sure he's healthy for the NFL. Do you honestly think he's not going to show up to the biggest day of his career in the best shape he can possibly be in?
You're a better poster than this. Get your head out of your arse man.

It just seems like you honestly believe arden key will be a first round draft pick no matter what he does this season. I don't see it that way. He needs to start putting out and showing he's the same player he was. That's all fine and dandy that it worked out for clowney the way it did. Don't be so naive to believe that it will work out for every player the same way just bc it did for clowney. Lol you get your head out of your arse.

Clowney wasn't out of shape either.

Maybe. Like I said, that's too be determined

I didn't expect him to leave school and come into camp 30 pounds overweight. I have no idea where is head is right now nor do I know he'll get over it

It's a legitimate concern. I think something is wrong with him. I don't know if it's his desire to play at all or what but I don't see the same player at all anymore.
