Because they understand that he was unable to work out coming off the shoulder surgery and was out of shape because of it.

I hope you're right. He's definitely a completely different player so far this season for LSU though. I just don't know what could make that big of a difference in his performacne in 1 offseason. Unless he's just tanking it on purpose, which I despise. I hope he turns it on and plays like he did last year bc he showed top 10 draft pick ability last year. I just don't get what happened to him so quickly.

People have surgery all the time and don't come into the season 30 pounds overweight. He wasn't immobilized for the last 8 months, he clearly just didn't take care of himself.
