The original point was that the US is not good or bad enough to predict a result on Friday. You came back with the idea that this applies to Panama also. And you’re right, it does. Then you said this line of thinking can apply to any game between any two teams. That’s where you’re wrong. It’s easier to predict the result when the teams involved are either great or terrible. The great team is likely to win. The terrible team is likely to lose. Matches involving two average teams, especially average national teams, are hard to predict. That’s all I was trying to get across. There’s no fricking telling how we will perform against Panama or Tuesday v T&T.

That's a cop out.

The US is a more talented team than Panama and is playing at home. The more sound predicted result is a US win.

Doesn't mean it will happen, but to say you can't predict a result is idiotic.
