I’m no fan of Bilzerian, but what else was he supposed to do in that situation? Go to his car, retrieve a weapon (likely a handgun), and return fire on an unknown, elevated position occupied by a shooter raining down sustained fire upon innocent people in the dark?

I'm no fan of his, but what should he have done differently? I don't think he was armed and I'm not sure what kind of information he had as to the location of the shooter.

Personally, were I the badass that he portrays himself to be, my first action wouldn't be posting on social media. He could have been rendering aid at the least. And his comment "I'm running home to get my gun" doesn't need an explanation as to how ridiculous it was.

Who are you to judge ? Can you say without a doubt if people were dropping dead or injured all around you that you wouldn't be running to get out of there ? On top of that , you don't know how many shooters there were at the time , where they were shooting from , what they looked like , if "they" had bombs , etc. Was it foolish to be filming yourself while running away from gun fire ? - sure .. but don't judge someone . Leave the counter attack to law enforcement and the judging to God.
