This is why the country is tearing at the seams: monsters do terrible things, idiots than say stupid things, and then good people lose their cool and join them in saying impulsive things.

I'm sorry.

There is no person on the planet who can be labeled "good" who wrote what she wrote.

She's a horrible person who only appeared "good" in real life to other liberals.

No one thinks that vile a shite and isn't a completely shitty person on the whole.

I'll guarantee you that ever conservative who has ever crossed her path hated her guts.

You misunderstood me then.

The 'monsters who do horrible things' was the shooter that carried out this act.

The 'idiots who say terrible things' are people like her who make these comments and insist on being banes during times of distress

The 'good'people who return in-kind with insults', are the ones that react to her comments, wish that she is raped violently, and everything else they say. Tell you what, instead of saying it, why don't one of you just do it?

We won't do it because we are good. At least I hope we are. It has to stop somewhere. So rather than begin to the sow seeds of revenge, and encourage someone to carry out a heinous act a month, a year, or 5 years from now, why not stop here.

The parishioners at AME church in SC wished no ill to Dylan Roof. God bless them and be a comfort to them even now as they have to endure that monsters taunts and continued defiance.
And it's a lesson we all need to try and learn, and a trait that we all need to try and develop.

Or else we will be left wondering when the NEXT tragedy strikes, how a monster could be moved to do such a thing.

And I'm not saying forgiveness and compassion will fix it all. Mercy shouldn't be gullible. Believe me, consequences for actions (like her firing) and whatever ostracism for the rest of her life she has to endure is in short order.

But we don't have to be so vile.
