Very sad. He was a great thing to happen for Gainesville, especially his return to Gainesville for that concert. Unforgettable moment for me when I went to that too.

Bummer, thought he had escaped what many of his peers had not because of past history of drug use.

This does not mean I think he died as a resultant use of drugs,

simply I looked at him as the guy would survive to old age, he is younger than me , dang

I always felt he was underrated. He had huge hits spanning 3 decades. His side projects Traveling Wilburys & Mudcrutch were also great.

Motherfricker. This is the first musician of my lifetime that has passed away that really stings. Similar to others with Bowie, Prince, etc.
