What you saw Saturday night was a remarkable impression of that 1999 team.
As for asses in seats, leaving wasn't as big a thing then and the stadium was smaller. But yeah...when it got bad under Hallman and diNardo, things thinned out.
Now...with our 100,000 seat stadium, and the penchant for leaving games early or not going at all, things are going to look anemic.
