The D position coaches need to step it up. Aranda isn't going to coach up an individual on fundamentals or nuances of a position. Great coordinator, great schemer.

Many would say he's "making the best of it". I agree. But since he's not capable of individual development, those position coaches are going to have to do more to make up for it and give him more [faster] than they have done so far.

Insane. First of all, no competitive and prideful high-level coach is going to quit on himself, a team, and a program like that. They will see it as a challenge. Secondly, to do what you're suggesting is a career killer. "Oh, so you're having a tough time with young players at LSU so you're looking to bail. Great! Just what I was looking for, a coordinator who can't handle adversity or anything under the best talent anywhere. You know, someone from the John Chavis school of coaching".
