Down $50 (12%) since it's high at $389. China announces a new electric vehicle policy for 2019.

This is the second time its hit a near all time high then backed off again this month.

Wait until they release their 3Q delivery report next week. They are expected to miss their model 3 delivery targets and come in under estimated for the S & X as well which should drop them quite a bit. They also pushed back their semi-truck unveiling event a month to late October and it's looking like they won't be able to complete the cross country autonomous drive by years end as they previously promised so I think the stock could possibly go into the low 3s and maybe high 2s.
I've been wanting to jump in for a while but their model 3 production issues are keeping me on the sideline for the time being.

The Chinese will not be buying Teslas in any appreciable quantity, the average wage is less than 5 grand a year.
Kandi (KNDI) would be a much better play IMHO or BJEV if they ever do the IPO, if you are looking for exposure to the China EV market.

Thanks for the note on KNDI. Got in at $5.75 and was flirting with $10 today. How closely are you following this?
