Trump gave an opinion which has no weight of law behind it and never will. If a person doesn't like that opinion, fine, but this particular comment about the NFL players kneeling has nothing to do with free speech as defined by the first amendment.

And that's his first amendment right to express that opinion.

Just like if most people pulled that crap during a real job, they would either be reprimanded or fired.
