They kinda already do. The Arena Mode. Yeah you’re in there with pc players but it’s by skill level.
Playing Arena has already made me a lot better in Solos. I am by no means a great builder but I still hold my own.

the moving storm alone has made me consider quitting tbh. The entire end of the game is just running and trying to get through obstacles while the really good player sits up top and kills everybody.
The days are gone when you could build a fort in the final storm circle and the only way someone could launch on you is a jumppad.
