Tomlin's logic isn't for or against the kneeling. His logic is to not let anyone make a big stink about one of his players doing whatever during the anthem. Good or bad. Villanueva came out, which made it a story.
I don't agree with Tomlin, but I understand his logic.

This is 100% on Tomlin IMO. He's now created the stir, an actual issue to go back and forth on.
