I feel the same way now that I did then.
LSU followed the same formula as TN did when firing Fulmer. They got rid of their winningest coach ever without actual plan in place to improve the situation.
I'm still hoping O can turn it around, but realistically don't see it happening.

Me to ! Ditto! Im glad that bumbling idiot and con artist is gone and never coming back.
Coach contracts are paid to win Conference games, not Non Conference games, check his record, and get over it, MILES IS GONE

100% this.
LSU should have been so ready to roll with a new coach it wasn't even funny. For as conceited as the Coaching Changes board was up until the end of the season, I don't think any fans would turn their noses up at Larry Fedora, Mike Gundy or Kyle Whittingham at this particular moment.

I think this is the best and most succinct description I have seen yet. As "internet-over-played" as the following is, I literally think that LSU followed this plan:
1) Winningest coach ever is getting stale
2) Fire said coach
3) ???????
4) Profit
Nobody can really argue with 1 and 2....it is 3 and 4 that have turned out to be a bitch.

Love the "Graceland" reference. Very cool. Love that place.
