Anything yall could recommend? New to the area, living right by Teche. Don't have room to bring the boat over yet trying to find somewhere to wet a line.

If you looking for fun, poches in breaux bridge has a ton of bank fishing. Will you catch keepers, prolly not. Will you have good action, yes. Probably wont catch anything to eat. And youll pay if you arent renting a cabin. But if you wanna bring a few little kids and teach em the ropes (or a gf that swears she wants to bass fish), its a fun place.

Not too familiar with that area. But in Lafayette you could fish the ponds near Vermilionville in Beaver Park. Also the Camelia ponds. Fabacher Field pond in Youngsville. Or you could sneak into the Wetlands golf course. The ponds in there are LOADED.

City Park in St. Martinville. In and around the boat launch.
