I'm in Arkansas and yes my dad owns a tire store up here. I retired from the military rather than going into that business, but I was but 12 years old when I sold and mounted and balanced my first set. Yes, I do have knowledge of tires. Your anger over being told you overpaid for the name Michelin on your tires is aimed at the wrong person. Be angry with yourself.

Meanwhile, Michelin DOES build good tires, no denying that, but compared to Cooper, Hankook, BFG, Toyo and such, they are simply too high priced.
