Etling isn't a good QB.

OMG shut uuuuuuup. He's perfectly fine. It's inconsistent OL and dropped passes more than anything else. Then on the flip side, no depth on DL, so no pass rush.

No. When he was good he had a good QB. Can you name any Pitt or NCst WRs in his time at those places? His OL problem at Pitt was schemed around, you can go look this up for proof. Dropping passes happen all the time but when you are like 100 or worse in pass attempts per game, 3-4 drops looks way worse.

Tired of the excuses for Etling. If this was a perfect team, fine he'd do okay, but it's not, That's why a playmaker is needed because QB is literally the most important position on the team. Good QBs mask/bandaid a lot of problems with an offense. Etling only adds to the problem because of his limited abilities. Guice needs somebody to take the attention off him. Nobody is scared of presnap motion when only 4-5 plays are called.

My guessing is that Canada is limited because Etling is. He averaged 29 and 32 passes per game when he had Brissett at NCst. At Pitt he had a QB that had previously thrown 20 TDs had over 2500 total yards and another rushing TD before Canada even came there.
