re: Forget about "White Privilege". Let's discuss "Pretty Privilege"

This is as true as anything in life.....and very few people will deny it. It is simply human nature....looking good is a little better than looking bad, period.

What's amazing is the number of people who will agree with this but who will also claim there is no such thing as white privilege. Given that there are many more white people in positions of decision making and humans tend to surround themselves with people similar to themselves there is no rational way to dismiss the advantage of being white. The same is even truer as a white man. It isn't a case of white men getting ALL the breaks and no one else ever gets one....it is a case of it happening slightly more than it doesn't.
