If that was my teammate I don't know that I could continue to play football.
That stuff would mess with my head big time.

Me too. This story really reinforces how scary neck injuries are and anytime a football player doesnt get up right away after a hit.
Makes me think back to Zac Etheridge's neck injury vs Ole Miss in 09. He's so lucky the Ole Miss player under him didnt move. He could have easily died that day or at least been paralyzed, but because of the quick thinking of the Ole Miss player he not only lived and can walk, but was able to come back and play football again the next season and now has his own career in college coaching. That is a miracle. If I was Zac I would have to call up Rodney Scott and thank him again after reading this story.
