Going with the wife to Bermuda for 5 days (no kids). We're both early 30's. Staying at Fairmont Southhampton. Any recommendations for hot spots to eat or activities to do?

Been a few years, but the highlight of our trip was to rent a Boston Whaler and tour the sound on the western end of the island.

swizzle inn, henry VIII (go at night), rent scooters, all the best beaches are close to the southhampton, explore all of those. crystal caves. look into fishing if you are into that (challenger is the top charter boat there right now).

haven't been since they built the americas cup village, so i don't know what there is over there other than the dockyards.

when are you going?

Ocean Echo at the reefs hotel has an awesome view and decent food. Bermuda isn't particularly known for its restaurant scene

Rent scooters.

Hamilton, along the docks/harbor, is lively. A lot of people, cruise ships, restaurants, bars, etc.

Elbow Beach is great. We stayed at Elbow Beach Resort. Gorgeous.

Would definitely check out Crystal & Fantasy Caves.

Cruise ships don't typically dock in Hamilton anymore since they got too big for it, they are usually out at the dockyards which has the old fort, and all the new stuff built for Americas cup.

Not sure if Hamilton is still doing Harbor nights on Wednesday nights this late in the summer, but that is something else to do.
