I would urge you to go back and watch highlights from 2003. I know by me saying that will make some mad. But take the 2 biggest plays of that year. Skylar Green, a speedster, vs UGA lined up in slot against either a LB or a Safety where Mauck rolls out and hits him wide open for TD. SECCG, against UGA again, Justin Vincent gets a toss sweep, a TE was lead blocker, and two OL pull and he takes it to the house.

The point is putting elite athletes in positions to succeed, preferably in mismatches like Skylar in the slot and ideally in space. If the qb is a "game manager" then you design plays, like Mauck rolling out, that would make the defense job harder to get him and his job easier. If the OL is having a hard time give them a variety of block schemes, like on the Justin Vincent TD, where they are blocking in space LBs and DBs.

I think O and Canada are smart enough to know they must make changes. I expect no holding back of offense next 2 weeks and probably into Florida game

Etling is going to have to adapt to the time he's got (speed up his clock). He's going to get rushed, but he still has to find a way to be successful. On 29 pass attempts, he was hurried 6 times and sacked twice. 13 were completed. The rest were either drops or seeing ghosts.
