The NFL is completely oversatured. Football season used to feel special, but the NFL's policy of trying to be in people's lives 12 months a year is backfiring.

NFL never goes away. The draft, training camp, preseason, games on Thursday, Sunday, Monday, it has a numbing effect.

The product on the field is also completely sterile and corporate.

The business aspect of pro football has crushed the competitive sport aspect. There used to be a much healthier balance.

College football still has genuine emotion and passion in it.

Are you a Bama fan talking about oversaturation?
I'm 23 and have lived in AL my entire life. This fricking state is AU/UA the entire frickING YEAR. College football is a religion to this state. It's one of the reasons I'm leaning NFL more and more these days, because even if the NFL is oversaturated, it's not as bad as CFB in AL.

Also, passion? Oh yeah, I really bet all those 5 stars at Bama are playing there because Bama is such a great school and location and that applies to every major program. We all know players are getting paid with their eyes set on going pro. To say otherwise is laughable. Just because players make it to the NFL doesn't mean their passion is suddenly gone.

As for the business aspect, CFB is milking every fricking dollar it can. Again, players are getting paid so lol at that, also the insanely stupid number of bowl games which are no more than exhibition matches, and the fact that virtually over half of CFB is eliminated from the playoffs before the season even starts.

I could add more, but I imagine the point is made.
