I recently looked at a house for sale. The former occupants took most everything but left behind several alphabetized shoe-boxes of sports cards in a closet.

They also left a box full of good condition (shrink wrap on some) 60s and 70s country albums (Waylon, Haggard, etc.)and one by famous crooner Terry Bradshaw.

The box of old vinyl is probably worth more than the multiple boxes of cards.

Where did you see that at? Are they being listed that high or actually selling that high? I'm seeing Ripken rookies in a PSA 10 holder go for $200-$1700.

So this Ripken rookie has been a submitted to a reputable grading service, either BGS or PSA? Because if it hasn't, there's no way to determine the cards true condition. They look at centering, surface, edges and corners.

Also, I don't think that Ripken is worth 6K.
