Her win over Venus Williams was so inspiring and good that I legit stopped watching the Patriots / Chiefs game to enjoy.

Usually in tennis, when unseeded and younger players get in a position like that to defeat a legend, they choke. As a college tennis player, I know that I always choked in spots like that. I didn't have it at 16, 18, or 20. I think I might have it now (when it's irrelevant), but I didn't have it back then.

She got a lead, Venus stepped up her game and played the best tennis she has played in a while... and instead of folding, Sloane was a badass and hit about 10 amazing shots in a sequence of 4 points that was just jawdropping. She became a champion and I bet she'll win a lot more now.

Good point about the choke.
I had seen sloan fold in years past when top tier players got hot and stayed strong.
I stopped following her. Tournaments like us open and brits are on all day and half the night for weeks so there is a lot to choose from.
I watched a lot of mens. Some women, the top players and sharapova.

Appreciate the confession. I had it happen once in hoops. I didnt want the ball. Luckily a teammate was lights out and carried us.

Its easy when you are flowing. You have to rely on basics When you are up against it.
Anyhow, you got it man. Giving sir winston props in two kinds of threads today. Your breakthru on the relationship between population and the problems humans now face is so great that i feel its possible you are the 100th monkey.
