I moved to a different state after 10th grade and then moved to another state after 11th grade for my senior year, so 3 different HSs for my final 3 years.
All I can say is that it sucked at the time, but it paid dividends for my social game later in life. There is not a social situation now in which I'm uncomfortable.
My dad was in the army so I just had to deal with it.

My kids moved like that with me but they both kind of enjoyed it. They move into new circles with ease. But it did cause them to see moving as the cure for any tough situation.
