I'm driving for a handful of reasons.

1) we need a vehicle up there

2) 6 guys have a lot of stuff to carry around

3) I want to hunt a couple of places on the way there or on the way back.

Having said all of that, I might end up flying to Rapid City SD and renting a truck and driving up from there.

Completely off the subject (sort of)...I know the transportation of firearms via air carrier rules are set pretty good and easy to understand...but what about transporting them via car/truck across borders? What's the process?

FYI, the drought in ND, SD and Montana messed up the pheasants bad, that is why we have shifted south to Kansas to hunt this year. The drought was at the worst time for birds, crp was grazed and cut during nesting season and most crops didn't come up and the bug hatch was limited with the drought, and that is what the chicks need to grow.
