I think I tore my TFL (Tensor Fascia Latae) or my Iliacus

Well, last Monday, I did legs. Started off with my active stretches and warmups. Then I did my squats. Early on in the exercise, I felt something kind of pop. Didn't really hurt, and shite I'm so old stuff is always cracking and popping, so I just continued. Finished the whole day with zero issues. Finished up, stretched at the end, everything seemed koo. This was around 7 AM.
Later that evening, around 7, I took my daughter to Party City. I get out of the truck and wow my leg just tightened up and it REALLY hurt. It wasn't the groin, it was like the front of the hip. I looked it up and I think it's the TFL or the Iliacus.
Well, I went home and iced it and started feeling better. I can squat and it only hurts when I go below parallel all the way to the ground. I can do L-Sits with zero pain, planks, etc.
Well, it's stupid bruised. It's bruised from the TFL, to the Iliacus, to the quad, to the IT band.
Do y'all think I tore it? Is there anything you can do about it or do you just have to let it run its course?
Any info would be appreciated.

It only hurts when I stand and cross my legs. It's so weird. Anything else doesn't hurt. Pistol squats, yoga poses, etc. They don't hurt.
I have NOT done anything with weight since it happened though.

How the frick would anyone on a message board know whether or not you tore something without performing an exam?
Maybe just go see a specialist and get an exam?

Getting injured when your focused on training really sucks.
I would have someone look at it.
From what it sounds like, they are likely to recommend stretching, rest, and ice ( I worked 2 years as an athletic trainer at a physical therapy clinic and seen a lot of things)
Good Luck

Are you seeing a lot of bruising? Usually a torn muscle will produce that.
And when you say active stretching, what are you doing? You should be stretching using the movement you are about to do. If you are going to squat, use an unloaded bar and do 10-15 reps, and slowly go up form there.
