What LSU earns from gamday parking and concessions are pennies and amount to nothing compared to what they get on media deals from the SEC.
this is what i don't get. game day money is nothing compared to overall revenue so why are they turning people away by squeezing them for every penny? improve the experience, get more people at the games, increase interest, make more money, everybody wins. seems obvious to me.

I understand the problem of too many people on campus and lack of parking spaces. What I don't understand is this crazy amount they are charging in the areas around the softball field. 50 dollars for Chattanooga is dumb and then 90 dollars for Auburn. Then when no one is using that lot because of the price you open it up at 5:30 and let cars into the same lot free that just hours earlier you demanded people pay 50 dollars to get into. If want to turn this into pay parking why not offer it to season ticket holders for 200 a year. How about sell it game to game for 20 bucks and open it to only season ticket holders until 3 hours before kick off when you let everyone in. This would cut down on people not going to the game taking up spaces. It may mean that I will eventually give up my tickets, but I will not pay 50-90 dollars to park.
