For everything there is a season. Spring is over, enjoy summer.

Don't be overly concerned about resale values. Think of it as a work truck. Kid gear will leave many scratches, scrapes, dents, and dings. Kids will spill, pee, and puke stains everywhere (even the ceiling). Because you will use kid attractant parking lots the exterior will look like it spent a year in Afghanistan. Enjoy, it goes by fast.
