I just placed a credit freeze for my wife and me at all three bureaus.
Equifax was free. The other two ended up costing me $40.00. I have no plans to use my personal credit any time soon and neither does my wife, so this seems like the best solution for us at this moment.

I just did the exact same thing tonight to hopefully make my needle a little too difficult to utilize in the 143 million person haystack.
