I dont understand this mindset.. im not saying you're wrong, i just dont get it.. I've known ppl who commute into Houston and other cities, some I've known to drive 2 or 3 hrs a day, round trip-- then they complain that everything near downtown is 'overpriced'... What price do you put on your own sanity if youre spending 2 or 3 hrs on the road every day? To me it's a quality of life issue.. And trust me when i tell you that, absent the amount of trees, there are places in the Loop every bit as nice as the Wood Lands... you'll pay more for less sq footage, but you'll actually be home much more to enjoy it.
